front end of community pharmacies

Can I return this?

I'm late with this tip, but you still will want to do it. If you have an updated return policy due to COVID-19, you will want to make sure it is posted in many areas of your store. Think it through, what are you comfortable taking back as a return? Remember, returns may have been handled by a number of family members and friends.

More visible than Carlton was

Stuck between a rock and a hard spot. People have last-minute shopping to do, but they also want to stay safe. I'm not sure how warm it is where you are, but it may be a good idea to have a doorman/doorwoman. This gloved person should be seen outside wiping down the entranceway and opening doors for customers while assuring them that it is safe to come inside. An Elf costume with red shoes would be a nice touch.

Boosting sales

Let's have a holiday contest. Who can sell the most immune booster supplements between now and the New Year! It is a fun way to practice the lost art of suggestive selling. "Hello Mrs. Jones, thank you for coming in. Have you found everything you are looking for? Yes? Great! Oh, have you thought of adding our pharmacist recommended Immune booster to your purchase? Here are some prize suggestions for the top two winners. 1st place: 50 cents for each booster sold. 2nd place a pizza delivered to the employee's home.

Don't get caught empty shelved

On Wednesday, the 23rd plan on placing an OTC order. You may have to come in early or stay a bit later to do a thorough out-front order. The order will come in on the 24th, you can leave the product in the totes and plan on putting the items out when time allows, and that may be as late as Tuesday the 29th! The very few of you clinging on to an inventory policy of one on the shelf better rethink it.

Read me about RangeMe

Right now, it is tough to find new product lines. Getting to meet sales representatives has come to a standstill. Here at NCPA, we have come up with a way to help you with this dilemma. It's called RangeMe. To learn more on how easy it is to use RangeMe, read my article in this month's America's Pharmacist magazine titled "Looking for Money in all the right places."

Sign for the times

Here is how you can sell more CBD; it's simple. Create a sign that says "The Perfect Stocking Stuffer" add a photo of someone in a red suit, and you've got yourself a great sign. Now here is where you can learn more about CBD. The more you learn, the more you sell.

The History of Gabe

Here is a fun 45 minutes. Gabe was a guest on the Catalyst Pharmacy Podcast… Deck the Aisles with Rows of Retail… You can watch it here. You'll get tips and better understand Gabe's red shoes. What are your pharmacy's red shoes?

On behalf of the Profit Makers Team, have a happy and safe Holiday! Merry Christmas!
